Government Schemes
The Government of Tamil Nadu provides higher education assistance schemes to encourage students from Government schools to continue their studies. Students of this institute can also avail the benefits of the following schemes.
Pudhumai Penn Scheme
புதுமைப் பெண் திட்டம் - Moovalur Ramamirtham Ammaiyar Ninaivu Puthumai Penn Thittam.
Cash incentive of Rs. 1,000 /-month, per beneficiary as DBT
Eligibility
- All girl students who studied from Classes 6 to 12 in Government schools / Goverment Aided (Tamil medium ) schools continuously .
How to Apply
- This scheme activity is implemented through online portal 'UMIS' wherein the girl students themselves can apply for the scheme directly.
- Submit School study certificate,Community Certificate,Income Certificate, Bank pass book, Aadhaar card and Admission proof.
- The Institute also assists students in verifying and forwarding the application.
Tamil Pudhalvan Scheme
தமிழ் புதல்வன் திட்டம் — for male students
Cash incentive of Rs. 1,000 /-month, per beneficiary as DBT
Eligibility
- All boy students who studied from Classes 6 to 12 in Government schools / Goverment Aided (Tamil medium ) schools continuously .
How to Apply
- This scheme activity is implemented through online portal 'UMIS' wherein the boy students themselves can apply for the scheme directly.
- Submit School study certificate,Community Certificate,Income Certificate, Bank pass book, Aadhaar card and Admission proof.
- The Institute also assists students in verifying and forwarding the application.
